N2  - We thank Dr Luke for his comments regarding our recent article. He and his colleagues are to be applauded for their efforts to reduce injuries among a high-injury-risk group (15- to 18-year-olds) by placing greater restrictions on foul play than those outlined by USA Hockey. Unfortunately, the statistics provided by Dr Luke are not enough to support the claim that the number of hockey-related injuries has been significantly reduced in their league players.
