SP - 621 EP - 621 VL - 171 IS - 8 N2 - Spontaneous uterine rupture is a very rare obstetric complication. This case report describes spontaneous uterine rupture in a healthy 28-year-old primigravid woman at the 31st gestational week. The woman was hospitalized due to contractions, which eased after rest. Later she had acute abdominal pain followed by an abnormal cardiotocography. An acute caesarean section was performed and a longitudinal posterior uterine wall rupture found. She had no known risk factors explaining the rupture.
