N2  - This research was planned to study the influence of advisory letters on the rate of errors in driving made by private motorists. For the purpose of the study, behaviour at a halt sign was chosen. The before-after type of method was used. The original hypothesis of the experiment was confirmed, namely that an advisory letter caused a significant reduction in the error rate compared with the case where no letters were used.<p />
