N2  - 11 roadway friction tests were recently completed on snow-covered paved roads in New Hampshire. This paper reports the results of these tests, and reviews some of the other published results on similar research within the literature. Conclusions are drawn and explained, focusing on performance of antilocking brake systems vs. locked-wheel braking systems on erodable surfaces such as loose snow.<p />
