N2  - Mortality by cause of the native population of Greenland is analyzed for the periods 1968-1972, 1973-1978, and 1979-1983, using the concept of years of life lost. Changes in the causes of death over time for males and for females are noted. The importance of accidents, suicide, homicide, and cancer is established.
