N2  - Accident analysis of 59 collisions on the North Sea in which fishing vessels were involved revealed a number of problems. Optimization of the design of the bridge and equipment was required with respect to mental load, human error, internal and external vision, and the conditions under which the different tasks had to be performed. The results laid the basis for the redesign of the bridge with respect to the structure and the presentation of the flow of information, the layout of the bridge as well as the equipment.<p />
