N2  - This paper presents some findings on the psychological factors related to accidental injury in childhood. It also discusses the factors concerned in optimal rehabilitative care. Particular attention is given to understanding the psychosocial needs of children and families in cases of thermal injury so as to improve the quality of life of those who survive injury.<p />
