Real accidents chosen from an in-depth investigation are modeled using a multibody approach. Effects of many parameters (car velocity, victim position at impact, etc) are numerically studied in order to find the closest configuration to the presumed real accident conditions. This configuration is then reproduced experimentally by crash-test using cadavers. Finally, the three approaches are compared in terms of impact points on the car, injuries and kinematics.
