The goal of the study was to implement and evaluate poisoning prevention training for primary school students. The study was carried out in 3 rural schools Kemalpasa, Izmir, Turkey. Fourth and 5th grade students completed age appropriate questionnaires pre- and post-education. There were significant differences in mean scores of the knowledge responses given pre- and post-test (p<0.05). with more questions answered correctly post-education.
