N2  - Figures are estimated for the amount of pesticide sold in the UK and an estimate made of the number of people who may be occupationally exposed when the diluted products are used. The number of confirmed cases of poisoning is used to suggest that, while there seems to be good control of acute risks, there is still a need to ensure high levels of operator protection. The legislation influencing the selection and use of protective clothing is outlined.<p />
