N2  - The need for testing of coveralls used to protect pesticides users from exposure to pesticides is explained. Criteria for selection of suitable garments are described. A classification scheme is proposed to enable users to select the types of garment expected to offer suitable protective properties to meet the likely operator contamination risks associated with the operations of handling or applying pesticides. The test methods by which garments are ascribed to different 'type' rating within the proposed classification scheme are presented.<p />
