N2  - This sermon was written as a part of a Lenten Series on the Stations of the Cross. With the tragic news of two domestic violence related murder/suicides in neighboring towns, and the highly publicized conviction of a local man who had murdered his pregnant girlfriend, it seemed an appropriate time to address this crime once again from the pulpit. All too often the church has been silent about issues of family violence and sexual assault. It has been my experience that each time I do speak out, more women find the courage to share their own stories. Isaiah 42:1-9-Luke 23:27-31.<p />
