N2  - Although the aged formed only 15.2% of the total population in 1981 in West Germany, 48.1 of traffic accident fatality's of pedestrians occurred among those over 65 years old.  This paper analyzes the reasons for traffic accidents of the aged, and proposes a traffic safety program for them.<p />
