N2  - Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used for the quantification of the hypnotic drug triazolam in human samples. In our case, death was attributed to triazolam and ethanol intoxication. The whole blood concentration of triazolam was 7.0 ng/ml and that of ethanol was 230 mg/dl.
