N2  - Automutilation is a voluntary autoprovoked lesion, which determines infirmities of different degrees. The paper presents the case of a 25-year-old patient, who, being in detention, pricked his both eyes using a needle. This action provoked endophthalmitis and bilateral traumatic cataract.
