N2  - All death certificates supplied to Grimsby District Health Authority for the years 1967-1980 were examined. Certificates showing the occupation on fisherman (or similar term) or lumper were extracted. Brief analysis of the data on the age and cause of death stated on those certificates is presented. There was no indication that the mortality pattern differed significantly between the two groups or from that of the community from which the lumpers and fishermen came.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>
