N2  - The flexibility of the vertebral column in 160 male athlets and 105 female athlets has been measured. The instrument used by us was the Hydrogoniometer (Rippstein) which has been put exactly on the determined points of the back of all probands. Having moved the vertebral column in all directions the measurements have been registered and statistically analysed with standard measurements. We find a lot of differences in the different movments of the vertebral column regions between the athlets and the non-athlets. These persons with untrained vertebral columns are partly more flexibel then the probands with active trained vertebral columns.<p /> <p>Language: de</p>
