N2  - This study is the first part of a longitudinal study. The object of this study 'Alpendorf' is the economic and socio-cultural change of Swiss mountain village. Following construction of a communication's road a village was transformed into a worldwide tourist spot; well-known and invaded by mass by mass modern tourism. The forerunners of those changes were above all the technics and the acculturations.
