N2  - An analysis of the distribution of tobacco consumption and alcohol-related mortality in France by sex and department is presented for the population aged 45 to 64. It is shown that the "population can be decomposed into two sets such that, for each of them, tobacco and alcohol consumption distributions are log-normal.
