N2  - The paper covers various aspects of schoolchildren's mental adaptation. The study has indicated that mental health is worse in 6th-9th-form pupils than that in junior schoolchildren. There is a relationship of the deviant behavior of schoolchildren and their mental health. The data of an anonymous questionnaire survey are given, which suggest that there is an increase in negative trends towards psychoactive drug abuse.
