N2  - Digraph matrix analysis (DMA) is a tool for mathematically representing large complex systems, in order to evaluate their structure and reliability. In this paper, we prove that there is an isomorphism between DMA and Petri net theory. In addition, we explore the relationship of DMA to fault trees and discuss DMA's reachability and minimum cut set solutions.<p />
