N2  - Some experiences in analysing historical accident data are presented in this paper. An outline for a statistical analysis is given. In this outline three factors are emphasized, viz. the proper definition of the population from which the data originate, the completeness of the data and the reliability of the data. Definitions are given for the completeness and the reliability of a dataset.<p />
