Panelists will present some of their experiences in applying human factors information during expert witnessing, examining training, and discovering the facts during difficult cases. Panel members will discuss some of the problems, as well as solutions, for safe firearm use including training, labeling, weapon design, and storage from the prospective of the recreational shooter and the military. In addition, research data on weapon use and categorization of shootings will be presented and described.
