N2  - Dispersion analysis was used in research on the regluation of the size of families. The total number of applications for abortion to the Central District Hospital of Pinsk in 1970-1971 was analyzed. Figures are given on the age of applicants, marital status, their history of birth and contraception, the last pregnancy and abortion undergone, and the size of their present family. The data, compiled into a table showing the age factors involved in the reason for abortion, proved to be useful in making recommendations for the improvement of the medical service of these people. Dispersion analysis allowed an evaluation of the level of reliability and proportion of influence of determining factors of a phenomenon.<p /> <p>Language: ru</p>
