TY - JOUR PY - 2004// TI - Low-tension electrical injury as a cause of atrial fibrillation: a case report JO - Texas heart institute journal A1 - Varol, Ercan A1 - Ozaydin, Mehmet A1 - Altinbaş, Ahmet A1 - Dogan, Abdullah SP - 186 EP - 187 VL - 31 IS - 2 N2 - Electrical injury can cause a variety of cardiac arrhythmias. Atrial fibrillation as a result of such injury is fairly rare, however, and is rarer still in cases of low-tension electrical injury. We present the case of a patient who developed acute atrial fibrillation in association with low-voltage electrical injury, which resolved after the intravenous administration of digoxin.
