N2  - The objective of the Navy's Aviation Wide Angle Visual System (AWAVS) program is to recommend design criteria for future flight simulator visual systems. Research leading to this goal will have two facets: improving visual system technology, and determining the effects of visual system parameters on pilot performance and training.
