N2  - Modern vehicles are equipped with various recording devices that can aid in accident reconstruction and human factors analyses. One example is the fitting of video recorders in buses and trucks. In one such case a bus ran into the underside of an overturned semi trailer that was blocking both lanes of an interstate highway in darkness. While a first review of the case suggested that the bus driver would not have been able to avoid the collision, that opinion was reversed when the video recording became available of the view ahead of the bus in the 6 seconds before the crash.<p />  <p>Language: en</p>
