Participants were 186, 8-13 years old children and their mothers. According to results, most of the children are aware of the seriousness of news. TV news coverages about; "children who get hurt", "children who are kidnapped", "animals who get hurt" were the most common fearful coverages. Girls mostly experience difficulty sleeping and the boys mostly behave as frustrated as reaction to the news.
