N2  - A gas-chromatographic (GLC) procedure utilizing an internal standard is described for the quantitation of barbiturates in blood. Employing thirteen different specimens of post-mortem blood containing either phenobarbital alone or at least two different barbiturates, the GLC quantitative results are compared to those obtained by the modified UV differential method.  :: Le présent article décrit le procédé par Chromatographie en phase gazeuse (CGL) faisant appel à un standard interne pour déterminer la quantité de barbituriques dans le sang.  Utilisant treize spécimens différents de sang prélevé à l'autopsie et contenant soit du phénobarbital seulement, soit au moins deux barbituriques, on y compare les résultats quantitatifs fournis par le procédé CGL à ceux obtenus par la méthode différentielle modifiée à l'UV.<p />
