TY - JOUR PY - 2014// TI - Suicide by drowning: a forensic challenge JO - Forensic science international A1 - Todt, Melanie A1 - Ast, Friedrich A1 - Wolff-Maras, Roman A1 - Roesler, Birte A1 - Germerott, Tanja SP - e22 EP - 4 VL - 240 IS - N2 - In the case of suicidal drowning forensic examination is difficult, particularly with regard to differentiating between suicide, accident, homicide and natural death. In this respect, two cases of seemingly homicidal drowning with leg and arm bondage and weighting, to prevent resurfacing, are presented and discussed.
