N2  - The authors measured the alcoholic-strength of many elixirs, tonics and roborants and noted, that a great number showed a considerable alcoholic content. The medico-legal consequences are discussed. The authors suggest that all producers of these preparations, which can be bought without prescription, draw attention to the alcohol content and the possible alcoholic influence with its effects.<p />
