N2  - Blood alcohol concentrations determined at the time of blood sampling of suspected drink drivers in Veszprem (Mid-Transdanubia) between 1994 and 1999 were collected and compared in order to determine the effect of the legal recognition of breath alcohol analysis as evidence in a court of law introduced in 1995. Apart from the clearly obvious reduction in the number of drink drivers, statistical evaluation shows no relevant change in the level of intoxication of road users under the influence of alcohol.<p />
