N2  - 260 spirits were investigated. The congener content was estimated by means of head-space-gaschromatography (60(degrees)C) with 15% Polypropylenglycol on chromosorb W, 80-100 mesh, NAW. Most beverages can be separated into groups of similar origin and manufacture through congener content. The groups have special characteristics by which they can be differentiated from each other.<p />
