The reasons for this have been described in several studies, but the reliance on information available on the Internet varies and literacy needs to persist use. Both the health system and education can play a key role in the counseling field. You need to know the views of students from high school and college in Andalusia, Spain, on the relationship between the Internet and health, the concept of health and the image projected by the Internet and the 'social media' (media or e) social networks in relation to youth and health. We have developed a study using virtual ethnography techniques: we consulted 55 high school students in online forums and video 21 college students in semi-structured interviews. Students provided a comprehensive concept of health-related habits of physical and emotional health, and with the active or positive health factors. Exposed a critical view of the usefulness of the Internet for health, and the quality and credibility of health content on the Internet, showing the need for counseling and literacy. Have a more positive alternative view that the vision that occurs in social media and the Internet on their lifestyles, and suggest developing the Internet as a tool for enhancing participatory conversation and learning in health. The methodology used in this study may help to try new forms of research and action in future work on health with adolescents and young people online.
