TY - JOUR PY - 1964// TI - The effect of false-information feedback upon psychophysical judgments JO - Psychonomic science A1 - Kinchla, Ronald A. A1 - Atkinson, Richard C. SP - 317 EP - 318 VL - 1 IS - 1-12 N2 - An analysis was made of the effect of introducing false-information feedback in a yes-no signal detection task. The experimental results indicate that the false-information feedback increases both the probability of a hit and of a false alarm, and at the same time reduces the overall probability of a correct response.
