TY - JOUR PY - 2014// TI - Predictors of domestic violence - comparative analysis JO - Procedia - social and behavioral sciences A1 - Golu, Florinda SP - 611 EP - 615 VL - 127 IS - N2 - This study is a phase in the development of a larger study in which we will identify a number of predictors of domestic violence. Therefore, in this research, we intend to highlight a number of predictors of domestic violence. Our results indicate that the level of education and occupational status are significant predictors of domestic violence, while self-esteem and verbal hostility do not have predictive power on this phenomenon. We also noticed that there is a significant difference in the verbal hostility and self- esteem among women victims of domestic violence and women affected by this phenomenon.
