SP - 219 EP - 230 VL - 36 IS - 3 N2 - The frequency of coronary fractures during the growth period, especially of frontal teeth, has raised significantly over the last 10 years. The very varies clinical aspects concerning localization, extension, involvement of the teeth vitality, complications involving radicular fractures, raise extremely varied and difficult problems in the attempts at solving the loss of coronary substance. The authors have carried out a very ample study in 17,000 school children, and stress the frequency of these accidents, and the variety of clinical forms related to the presence of favourising or predisposing factors. Finally they conclude on the necessity to solve systematically the entire fracture pathology.
