N2  - Aware of the serious road safety problem existing in Nicaragua, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, developed during 2013, the Road Safety Strategy 2013-2018 in order to coordinate the initiatives undertaken by different institutions in the country. Lined with guidelines issued by the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 and on the basis of the study of the current situation, the new strategy proposes ambitious targets based on the commitment of the highest institutions, and defines both the design and the actions to perform for their implementation and monitoring.<p />  <p>Language: es</p>
