N2  - A suicide opinion questionnaire (SOQ) was administered to 76 Mexican Americans and 76 Anglos, equated on several demo graphic dimensions. An item analysis yielded statistically signifi cant differences on 35 of the 100 SOQ items. These items centered on the following themes: religion, psychopathology, aggression-impulsivity, acceptability of suicide, the "cry for help" dimension, and emotional impact.
