Culturally competent assessment practice is described as a contextfor discussing the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of "corrections" currently available for the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory with Hispanic populations. These "corrections" include moderator variables, special scales, special norms, translations, and aids to interpretation.
