A1 - Shayne, Elise A1 - Pogue, Brian SP - 334 EP - 336 VL - 4 IS - 2 N2 - An experiment was conducted in a field setting to study the effects of infant cues on inhibiting antisocial behavior-driving through a crosswalk while a pedestrian is waiting to cross the street. A female experimenter either stood alone, with a shopping cart, or with an infant stroller. As predicted, motorists stopped more frequently in the presence of the stroller than in the other two conditions.
