It looks at the research by Australia and other countries on the role of organized criminal groups in trafficking for labor-related exploitation. It also elaborates on the role of United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNCTOC) in providing a legal framework for combating transnational organized crime and the its definition of transnational organized crime. It also discusses the role of intermediaries and facilitators in human trafficking.<p />
