It notes that human trafficking is one of the most profitable illegal businesses worldwide with an estimated annually global profit of $31.6 billion. It states that there are still seven pending cases in the country, in which the public prosecution office has charged the offenders with trafficking in minors and children and in one case with rape of a minor. Furthermore, in the case where the passport of the child was confiscated and was sexually abused by the perpetrator during the last day of the captivity, the prosecutor accused the offender for instigating sexual intercourse with a child.
