N2  - The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation has compiled a bicycle plan for the southernmost region of Sweden. The plan elaborates the need to build or improve bicycle tracks between the built-up areas in the region to facilitate commuting and to create a complete bicycle network in the region. A comparison with the budget spent on new road construction shows that a mere ten per cent of the current road budget will have to be redirected to new bicycle tracks in order to complete this plan in ten years.<p />
