N2  - This paper reviews the uses of the original habit reversal procedure as well as simplified procedures to treat childhood habit disorders. After defining and describing different habit disorders in children, we describe the original habit reversal procedure and follow with a review of the literature looking at the various applications of the original and simplified versions to treat each class of habit disorder exhibited in children. The paper concludes with a discussion of potential areas for future research.<p />
