SP - 39 EP - 46 VL - 18 IS - 1 N2 - Neo‐Nazi activity, the most insidious variant of right‐wing extremism in Germany, increased dramatically after unification. Drawing on a combination of primary and secondary source material, this inquiry assesses neo‐Nazi terrorism in four parts. First, it explores the general characteristics of neo‐Nazi groups. Second, it evaluates their political aims and strategies. In this section, special attention is devoted to networking strategies used by neo‐Nazi groups. Third, it is considered how Bonn's efforts to curtail this terrorism activity have developed since unification. Finally, future prospects for neo‐Nazi activity are discussed.
