An analysis of predictors promoting the formation of recurrent depressive disorder allows an identification of a constellation of biological, psychological, therapeutic, social factors which should be taken into account in the choice of methods of prevention of the next episode of depression. Currently, the prolonged supporting psychopharmacotherapy, including antidepressant therapy, is a main tactics in the prevention of recurrent dynamics of depressive disorder though its efficacy is understudied.
