N2  - The author reports on a testing program undertaken to find the answer to the question whether reactivity of toluene diisocyanate with certain extinguishing agents is a significant problem. Three series of fire tests were performed EM DASH two outdoors and one indoors in the laboratory. The initial series employed a 5-ft**2 pan, 45 pounds of TDI, and a 10-pound fire extinguisher containing the test agent. This series was documented on video tape.<p />
