TY - JOUR PY - 1991// TI - Contribution to optimization of vehicle seats JO - International journal of vehicle design A1 - Demic, M SP - 618 EP - 629 VL - 12 IS - 5-6 N2 - In this work, which is based on research supported by the Scientific Foundation of Serbia, optimization of oscillatory parameters of a seat with hydraulic feedback was done from the aspect of mutual minimization of the vertical vibrations of the human body and the dynamic forces between the seat frame and the body. Optimization was done by using the Hooke-Jeeves method, using the hydraulic seat model and taking into consideration the sensitivity of the human body to vibrations. The developed method can be standardized and applied to other seat models.
