TY - JOUR PY - 1993// TI - Conceptual framework to study the effectiveness of employer trip-reduction programs JO - Transportation research record A1 - Lopez-Aqueres, Waldo SP - 55 EP - 63 VL - 1404 IS - N2 - Policy makers throughout the United States increasingly rely on employer-sponsored trip-reduction programs to reduce air pollution and traffic congestion. Despite the popularity of these programs, only a small number of studies have been undertaken to evaluate their performance. This paper presents a conceptual framework for a more rigorous study of employer trip-reduction programs and their expected emission and traffic reduction impacts. Implications of the practical application of the framework and data requirements are also discussed. Record URL: http://onlinepubs.trb.org/Onlinepubs/trr/1993/1404/1404-009.pdf
